Travel by bus

There’s a range of buses that run on a regular timetable to and from Spectrum Business Park.

X7 and 60 bus service (Go North East) 

The X7 and 60 runs to and from Sunderland every 10 minutes to Seaham Interchange. The X7 stops at Spectrum Business Park and the 60 stops immediately North of Spectrum.

202 (Go North East) 

The 202 links with the Seaham Interchange and Houghton Le Spring to the North, where connecting services go through to Newcastle and Durham. The southern leg of the 202 is to Peterlee with further connections to Newcastle, but also to Hartlepool and Middlesbrough. The 202 service passes through Spectrum every hour.

X21 (Arriva)

The X21 service runs to and from Darlington, Peterlee, through Spectrum Business Park and onto Sunderland.

The X6 bus service runs to and from Sunderland, Seaham, Spectrum Business Park, Dalton Park, East Durham College, Peterlee Bus Station, Horden, Blackhall to Hartlepool.

Travel by car

 

At less than two minutes to the A19 and 15 minutes to the A1, the office space at Spectrum Business Park is ideally located for the primary north south routes in the UK.

Spectrum Business Park is at the heart of the A19 corridor with excellent access to Tees Valley, Sunderland, Durham and Newcastle upon Tyne with air, rail, road and sea access to the UK and beyond.

Travel by train

Seaham Train station links to Teeside, Sunderland City Centre and Newcastle Central Station. By changing at Sunderland, the Metro system can be accessed, opening up the majority of Tyne and Wear with rail and light rail connectivity.

Seaham Train station is a short bus journey away from Spectrum Business Park. (The 202 or 60 bus services connect to Spectrum Business Park)

Durham station (12 miles west), links with Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Darlington, York, Doncaster, Peterborough and Kings Cross, London via the East Coast mail line. Other services run to Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Manchester Airport, Liverpool, Derby, Birmingham, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and Bournemouth.

Grand Central run main line rail services direct from Sunderland to Kings Cross. The trains call at Sunderland, Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton, Thirsk, York, London Kings Cross.
